Have you been singing and strumming in your living room, wondering if it’s time to venture out to perform in public? Well, with nine all-ages open mics or jams going on this week in the north state, the gate is open for you.

A CD release party for Still Married‘s recording “The Other California” will happen at The Grape Escape in Redding, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. (530) 244-8463.

The California State Old Time Fiddlers Association District 6 presents a free concert and open mic at the Palo Cedro Community Hall (formerly the Millville Grange). Ten Mile Station will lead off with a free concert at 2 p.m., and the open mic will follow.
