girls inc gala 2016

Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley invites everyone to its biggest fundraiser of the year, The 4th Annual GirlsInc. Gala and 10th Anniversary Celebration.

This glamorous “Old Hollywood” themed evening is set for 6 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Red Lion Hotel in Redding. The fundraiser features drinks, dinner, and dancing to swing music and big band tunes, plus a photo booth, silent auction, and Disneyland raffle.

“We’re rolling out the red carpet for our supporters,” Girls Inc. NSV Executive Director Kate O’Rorke said. “Because of them, Girls Inc. has served local girls for 10 years, empowering girls with the skills to be strong, smart and bold.”

Disneyland fans can enter a raffle going on now through the Gala. A $10 raffle ticket buys a chance to win four one-day “Park Hopper” passes to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park, valued at $620. Winners need not attend the Gala to win. To purchase, call Girls Inc. NSV at (530) 527-7767 or visit girlsincNSV.org.

All proceeds from the Girls Inc. Gala support Girls Inc. NSV, providing proven, research-based programs for Shasta and Tehama County girls, ages 6 to 18, in safe, all-girl environments. Community support, grants, and donations allow this Redding-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to fulfill its mission: “Inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold.”
