Colby Arnett, a local child, was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 6. He is now 7 and has been through brain surgery, chemo and radiation therapy, countless hospital stays, MRIs and much more. Please come help us to help his family with medical expenses and celebrate Colby’s new lease on life at a fun dance in an air conditioned hall. Our decorations and table theme are super-heroes. If you have a super-hero shirt or a character shirt please feel free to wear it!
Contra dance is easy and social. Come give it a try! Each dance is taught and then called by Lenore Frigo set to live music featuring Curvy Road. It’s easy dancing and uses walking steps. By the end of the night, you’ll have danced with everyone in the room and have gotten a lot of exercise. Who said exercise can’t be fun!
Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. If you forget water, it is available for $1 a bottle. Potluck finger foods are welcomed. Come on your own, or as a couple – and bring your friends!
The profit will go to the Arnett family.
