The Shasta College Office of Access & Equity and the Shasta College Foundation invite you to participate in the 3rd Annual Cesar Chavez Day of Service on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 8:00am – 1:00pm at Whiskeytown Lake. This event will involve clean-up of the Whiskeytown Recreation Area to prepare for the upcoming summer season. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 8:00am for coffee and bagels. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes, long pants and long sleeves, and remember to bring your water, sunscreen, hats and snacks! The day will conclude with lunch and a brief lecture on Cesar Chavez.
