Shasta College Agriculture and Natural Resources department and the Shasta County Department of Agriculture plan to offer spray calibration training for pesticide applicators. The training will commence Friday, November 20, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in room 4000 on the Shasta College Farm, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, CA.
This training will cover how to calibrate boom and backpack type spray equipment, common calibration mistakes and laws relating to calibration. The training has been approved by DPR for 4.0 hours of continuing education credit (1.5 hours laws & 2.5 other hours) for Pesticide Applicators, PCA and other license’s holders needing CEUs from Department of Pesticide Regulation.
