Upcoming CSU, Chico College of Business Information Sessions in Redding

California State University, Chico College of Business, in partnership with Shasta College, will host two information sessions in Redding on Oct. 21, 2015.

Those interested in a degree in business and associated management careers are encouraged to attend one of the information sessions.

  • Morning Information Session: Wednesday, Oct. 21
    11 a.m.-noon, Shasta College, 11555 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, room 2202A
  • Evening Information Session: Wednesday, Oct. 21
    5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Shasta College University Center, 1400 Market Street, downtown Redding, room 8109

Department of Management faculty will be on hand to discuss the current CSU, Chico business degree offerings and introduce the Bachelor of Business Administration Management degree option now available in Redding.

The application period is open Oct. 1 through Nov. 30.

The management degree is designed as a degree completion program in which students take lower-division coursework at a community college and then complete their upper-division classes through CSU, Chico.

To complete the degree option in management, students in the Redding area have access to the freshman and sophomore-level core business classes through Shasta College and junior and senior-level management courses through CSU, Chico. The management courses are delivered online, via live two-way video and in-person at the University Center in Redding.

Those interested in business options other than management are also encouraged to attend. Business degree options include accounting, finance, human resource management, marketing, project management, information systems, operations and supply chain management and entrepreneurship and small business management.
