Kids of all Ages are Invited to 2nd Annual Children’s Film Festival – And It’s Free!

North state children are invited to attend the second-annual Shastaland Children’s Film Festival. The festival will be held at the David Marr Theater in Redding.

For this year’s festival, filmmakers from around the world were invited to send their films, and out of nearly 1,000 films, 25 of the best of show were selected for public viewing on Sat. June 27.

To make sure the festival is as fun as possible for all ages the films are divided into two groups. The first group of films will be most appropriate for ages 3-6; and the second group of films are geared for ages 7-12. However, these are guidelines, and children are welcome to attend both showings, if they wish.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

As always, Shastaland Children’s Film Festival is free for everyone.

Where: David Marr Theater, 2200 Eureka Way, Redding, CA 96001

Date: Sat. June 27

Showtimes: Ages 3-6 start at 10:30 a.m, (doors open at 10 a.m.); Ages 7-12 start at 1 p.m.
