One of the most enjoyable events during Rodeo Week is the always popular Kiddie Pet Parade. The Kiddie Pet Parade features children and their pets strutting through the Mt. Shasta Mall in a very exciting parade that is fun for all ages. Each year the parade is led by the Sequoia Middle School Marching Band. This year’s Kiddie Pet Parade will take place on Thursday May 14th 4pm. In years’ past we have seen everything from dogs to snakes to turtles and rabbits. There’s no telling what will show up and be on display. Come witness this fun and exciting parade.

Parents with Children who want to participate are encouraged to contact the Asphalt Cowboys for complete details on the event and how to participate. The more the merrier! All pets are welcome and themed entries, costumes and creativity are encouraged. This year’s Rodeo Parade theme is “Western Memories and Milestones”.
