Hal Johnson lives in Shasta County with his wife and son, having escaped from Southern California 21 years ago. A year ago, he returned to strumming the guitar and singing following a 30-year hiatus from performing in public. Want to include your gig here? Send him an email at haljohn1@aol.com, or leave a comment on his blog at http://shastalivemusic.blogspot.com. The earlier the better, but please send your information no later than the Thursday prior to the week you’ll be performing, and include the date, the time you’ll begin performing, the location and any cover charge.

Hal Johnson

Born and raised in Ventura County, Hal Johnson moved to Shasta County in 1994. After a 38 year career flying helicopters, he can now sometimes be spotted around the North State singing and wrestling his guitar into submission. He always feels funny writing about himself in the third person. Contact him at shastalivemusic@gmail.com.
