CHP Request Public Assistance in I-5 Charter Bus Collision Investigation

As the lead investigating agency, the California Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses and/or information associated with the multi-vehicle traffic collision which occurred last Thursday, April 10, 2014, at approximately 5:40 pm, between a FedEx truck/trailer, a Nissan Altima, and a chartered bus on Interstate 5 near the city of Orland, CA. Tragically, the collision resulted in 10 fatalities, which included five high school students from Southern California.
