Shasta High School Presents Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” 44th Annual Spring musical

Shasta High School is pleased to present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific at the David Marr Theatre, May 1-3 and May 8-10. Set on a tropical island during World War II, this romantic classic won ten Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Score. This timeless piece tells the sweeping romantic story of two couples and how their happiness is threatened by the realities of war and by their own prejudices.

Considered by many one of the finest musical ever written, this production will feature a live orchestra presenting such memorable numbers as “Some Enchanted Evening”, “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair”, “Younger Than Springtime”, and “Bali Ha’i”.
