Employee Says She was Robbed at Redding Gas Station

On 3/20/2014 at 1721 hours, officers responded to 1233 Hilltop Drive “Shell Gas Station” in regard to an armed robbery.

Upon arrival Officers met with the victim, a 60-year-old Redding woman, who stated that she was robbed at knife point.

The victim told officers that the suspect walked behind the counter with a knife and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on a bicycle towards Kohls.

The suspect was described as a male white in his late 20’s or early 30’s, wearing a orange and white trucker style hat, a dark shirt with the words “Sublime” and a picture of a white sun.

The suspect was also wearing dark colored shorts and sunglasses. The suspect’s bicycle was described as a silver and red specialized mountain bike.

The suspect has not been located at this time, if anyone has any information please call the Redding Police Department
