Schedule of Events:
8:00 am: Bell Ringing Ceremony
(Inside of Old City Hall located at 1313 Market St.)
9:00 am: The worldwide bell ringing
9:30 am: Shuttle leaving the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center to the Court House, 1500 Court St.
(Shuttle transportation provided by Bethel Church)
9:45 am: For the Prayer/Praise Circle
The south parking lot of the Court House, 1450 Court St. On the corner of Court and Yuba
(Refreshments provided by the Salvation Army)
10:00 am: Community Walk from the Court House to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Multicultural Center and into the Martin Luther King neighborhood as extended exercise by choice.
11:00 am: Birthday of Service celebration Program
(1815 Sheridan Street)
12:30 to 1:30 pm: Lunch provided by the Martin Luther King Center Advisory Board and Martin Luther King Center Staff and AmeriCorps.
