A forum on guns and their place in society is being held on Saturday, January 25 at the Pilgrim Congregational Church on Foothill Blvd. in Redding. The program begins at 12:30 p.m.
Bruce Ross, the Editorial Page Editor of the Record Searchlight, will moderate. Panelists will include Patrick Jones, a member of the Redding City Council and the owner of a gun store; Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko; Donnell Ewert of the County’s Health and Human Services Agency; and, Amanda Wilcox from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
The public is invited to the forum, which is being sponsored by the group Shasta County Citizens for Democracy (SCCD). Questions will be taken from the audience.
