Writers Forum December Read-around and Potluck

The December meeting of Writers forum will showcase members by offering the opportunity to read up to 5 minutes from their original works. Upon arrival at the meeting, members can sign in and read on a first-come-first-read basis. Members who have not yet paid their annual membership fee of $20, may pay at the door before signing up to read. Limited spots for nonmembers may also be available. Critiques of the readings by members of the audience are optional and will be provided only upon request. Members are encouraged to bring potluck finger foods and desserts for this holiday celebration.

Writers Forum, a nonprofit organization founded in 1983, is dedicated to promoting writing as an art and as a profession and to supporting and inspiring writers from all over far northern California.The public is welcome to attend. When:  Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: Meetings are held in the Memorial Hall of All Saints Episcopal Church, 2150 Benton Drive, Redding. The church is located at the corner of Benton Drive and Quartz Hill Road.

    Would have loved to attend this; HOWEVER, since it is now 11:30 a.m. and I am reading this for the first time in my robe . . . I'm guessing it's not going to happen. Guess I'd better read my newscafe in a more timely manner.
