34th Annual Mozart Mile Sunday, October 7

The Mozart Mile is a favorite tradition of the Chico community. Walk, run, stroll, saunter or stride along a level course through Bidwell Park on a beautiful autumn morning. Musicians from the North State Symphony, Chico Country Day School, other local music groups, and even dancers from Chico Community Ballet entertain along the way! Proceeds benefit the Symphony and youth music. A level running, jogging or strolling course in Bidwell Park is the locale for this unique community event, as musicians from the Symphony and local youth music groups entertain you.

Almost 300 people took part in Mozart Mile 2011, a fundraiser for North State Symphony in partnership with other community groups, which ranged from the Chico Community Ballet and Friends of the library to the MTAC Youth Orchestra and Chico Children’s Ukulele Group.

5k run starts at 8:30 am. Fun/dog walks begins immediately after.
