Award Winning Acrobat Troupe Comes To The Cascade Theatre

Jefferson Public Radio and the Cascade Theatre present the spectacular acrobatics of Cirque Chinois on the Cascade Theatre stage at 7:30pm Thursday, September 20th, 2012.

One of China’s most acclaimed and influential circus troupes will bring its sparkling new production to the historic Cascade Theatre. Audiences of all ages will gasp and cheer at the jaw-dropping feats of these highly skilled artists. Renowned the world over for their signature acts, such as the Great Teeterboard, Grand Flying Trapeze, and Group Contortion, these performers have received numerous international awards and worldwide acclaim.

Direct from Beijing, the National Circus of the People’s Republic of China has been performing its unique brand of circus for nearly six decades, a style that has had a profound influence on the world circus society, including Cirque du Soleil. This one-of-a-kind experience will be filled with juggling, flying trapeze, contortions, and more, designed to mesmerize and astound audiences of all ages.
