What do you sell?

We sell high-quality hand-crafted items made by local artisans and crafters. We have an eclectic mix of items that includes museum-quality art, handmade furniture, jewelry, whimsical wearable art, children’s toys, lamps, and home décor … just to mention a few.

What inspired you to open this business in Redding?

We got here from Virginia and were awed by the talent and beautiful creations we found. We were also disappointed that there seemed to be so few places from which to purchase them. When this spot in Market Square opened up we were thrilled with the possibilities.

What is your business philosophy?

A thing of beauty is a joy forever. It will bring pleasure to all who touch it.

Anything else you’d like to tell us?

We would like to invite everyone to our grand opening celebration where they will have the opportunity to see our store, meet the people who create our beautiful merchandise, enjoy music, food and enjoy the time with their kid. There is also face painting and balloons on the agenda.

Please excuse my lack of local names, but where is Market Square exactly?

It's a section of the old downtown mall, where Market Street used to go through. It's bordered (roughly) by Tehama Street, California Street, Pine Street, and Placer Street. The Market Square area is just south of Tehama Street and the street numbers are extensions of Market Street where it runs into the Promenade.

It looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. I certainly did! Best of luck to you with your new business, and welcome to Redding.
