Book Signing and Authors Reception for The Unstoppable Eagles and Baby Birds March 10

Whiskeytown National Recreation Area will host local author Jeffrey Rich, and co-authors Terri Lhuillier and Joanne Brady at the park’s visitor center on Saturday, March 10 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a personal discussion and book signing.  The visitor center is located at 14412 J.F. Kennedy Memorial Drive in Whiskeytown, CA.

The Unstoppable Eagles, written by Terri Lhuillier and Joanne Brady, is the touching story of a pair of bald eagles, Liberty and Patriot, who chose to build their nest near a construction zone in downtown Redding.  Sisters Terri and Joanne, both Redding residents, chronicle the bald eagle pair’s inspiring struggle and endurance to build their nest and raise their chicks.  Illustrator Sarah Brady will also be on hand to discuss the beautiful images found in the book.

Baby Birds is a classic collection of photographic images of bird hatchings of the Western U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii.  Area local Jeff Rich, wildlife biologist and nature photographer, will be on hand during the book signing to discuss his process in obtaining these intimate images of baby birds.  Jeff’s book also provides information on the bird’s habitat, feeding, and family life.

A 15% discount will be offered on the purchase of these two titles during the reception and book signing.
