Dr. Ron Prinz, the lead investigator on the CDC-sponsored U.S. Triple P System Population Trial will be speaking at a conference for practitioners.
Triple P, the Positive Parenting Program, is a scientifically proven parenting program designed for all parents and is available right now in Shasta County. It is a proven program to increase positive parenting skills as a strategy to reduce child abuse and neglect. The program provides education on how parents can handle all types of issues with their children. The strategies apply to all ages from toddlers to teens and can help parents with common childhood issues from temper tantrums to poor school behavior.
Additional Information: Dr. Prinz will be available for interviews at approximately 9:45 am, after finishing his keynote address.
