Major sponsorships, teams of four golfers and individual golfers are needed. All funds raised stay local and support victims of family violence through the efforts of the SFJC. The center offers co-located services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child and elder abuse.

The first anniversary golf tournament will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at River Tasalmi Golf Club located at 5369 Indianwood Dr., Redding.

Major sponsorships are available for $750, teams of four golfers are available for $400 and individual golfers are $100 each. The Redding Rancheria is the exclusive sponsor for the golf tournament and the major sponsors include Premier West Bank and Rolling Hills Casino.

The SFJC opened on September 1, 2010 with the goal of helping victims of family violence leave their situation and live their lives free from abuse. Many of the center’s clients have stated they would not have received services if they did not come to the SFJC. By having all of the needed services under one roof, victims are able to seek the help they need, have their children cared for without leaving the security of our center. More than 1,800 visits for service have been received at the center since opening.
