Police: Intruder Rapes Chico Woman Inside Her Home

On Sept. 1, 2011 a female victim living in the 1000 block of East Avenue reported she was raped.

The victim was confronted by the suspect in her home and sexually assaulted. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction following the assault.

The suspect is described as follows:
White male adult, late 20s-early 30s, medium build, black hair, wearing light blue shirt.

The Chico Police Detective Bureau is currently investigating this incident.
