Redding City Ballet is holding open company auditions at Redding Ballet Academie
August 29, 2011, 4 – 6 p.m.
(Please bring resume with 5X7 headshot and cover letter)
2011 Season Dates: August 29th – December 10th
PERFORMANCES AND REPERTORY:
Nutcracker- December 3, 2011 (Weaverville) and December 9-10, 2011 (Redding’s Cascade Theatre)
Dance Sketches- November 2011
Redding’s ArtHops – September 10th, October 8th and November 12th
Rehearsals – October 1, 2011 through December 10, 2011 (10 weeks) with 1/2 week off for Thanksgiving.
BENEFITS:
Full class scholarship (apprentices receive half-scholarship for training classes.)
Shoes provided for performances
Performance compensation, dependent on position held
Studio space and personal choreography/performance opportunities
*Guest teaching opportunities may be available during period of residency in RCB. If interested, please include statement in cover letter and teaching history in resume.
