Update: Missing Redding Woman Found Unharmed

On Monday, August 15, 2011, at approximately 10:51 a.m., the Redding Police Department received a report of a missing person. The missing person is identified as Ester Diane Schilling, of Redding. Ms. Schilling went missing on Sunday, August 14, 2011, at approximately 10 a.m. from her residence in the south west Redding area. She is considered at risk due to being developmentally delayed.

Ms. Schilling is described as a white female, 25 years, 5’9”, 140 lbs., brown hair, green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, an unknown color shirt, brown flip-flops, and a pink backpack.

Anyone having information of Ms. Schilling’s whereabouts is asked to call the Redding Police Department at (530) 225-4200.

UPDATE: On Monday, August 15, 2011, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Redding Police Department was notified that Ester Diane Schilling had returned home. Family members stated that Ms. Schilling had been seen walking on Cedars Road by a neighbor and transported home. Ms. Schilling was unharmed.
