Shannon Phillips, Programs Services Director and Vice President of Operations for the McConnell Foundation, will give a presentation titled “The McConnell Foundation: Its History and Role in the Community” at the Millville Grange on Wednesday, June 22nd, at 6:30PM. Please, join us for an interesting presentation and Q&A afterwards.

The McConnell Foundation was formed by Carl and Leah McConnell in order to share the benefit of their lifelong accomplishments. The McConnell Foundation is a philanthropic organization positioned to help build better communities today and for future generations. Since the Foundation began actively making grants in 1989, it has awarded more than $202 million in the areas of Arts & Culture, Community Vitality, Recreation, Social Services, and the Environment. Current areas of emphasis are Children, Youth & Education; Sustainable/Livable Communities; Scholarships; and our long-standing Yosemite Institute program. Please, join us and learn more about the McConnell Foundation at the Millville Grange.

The Millville Grange sponsors speakers on issues and events important to the community. Drinks and other refreshments will be provided by the Grange. This event is open to the public and Grange members alike.
