What: Join Tehama County for the 3rd annual Ribs, Rods and Rides at Rolling Hills Casino

This Saturday morning, over two dozen hot air balloons will launch at dawn from Rolling Hills Casino, followed by a classic car show numbering over 150 cars. At 11 a.m., the premier rib cook-off starts, with fifteen teams and some of the best ribs recipes in the North State competing for the title of Best Ribs. Throw in olive tasting, an Artist Faire with balloons for the kids, and some live music at the car show and event center during the day and you’ve got fun.
Visit again just after sunset to see the largest evening balloon glow on the West Coast — where hot air balloons inflate and fire their burners to light up the area like super-sized lanterns. If it is too windy, there will be the largest balloon burner dance on the West Coast, with huge gas flames shooting up into the night sky. Bring your camera; this is a sight to behold.
If you missed the launch on Saturday morning, come back Sunday at dawn to watch the balloonists take to the skies again. Balloon rides are available both days — contact the Red Bluff Tehama Chamber of Commerce at (530) 527-6220 for more information and ticket costs.
The Rib Cook Off

Come taste some of the best ribs in the North State. The cook-off is an invitation-only event where 15 teams will compete for the title of Best Ribs. There will also be olive, olive oil and other fun vendors. Tickets are only $15 and all proceeds go to charity.
The Car Show
Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 9am – 3pm
Check out over 150 classic and restored cars, including many Corvettes.
Live Music & Dancing
Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 9pm – 1am
Dance the night away to live music by Kelly McDonald at the nightclub located within Rolling Hills Casino.
The Hot Air Balloon Festival
Saturday & Sunday, June 4-5, 2011
Balloons lift off at dawn (weather permitting). Balloon Glow at Dusk on Saturday (weather permitting). Otherwise the largest balloon burner dance on the West Coast will be held at Dusk on Saturday.
