CRIME: 245(a)(1) PC Assault w/ deadly weapon
LOCATION: 11280 Benson Rd., Keswick
VICTIM(S): Stewart, Larry Dwayne age: 54
SUSPECTS(S): Mulvey, Keith Russell 03/28/73
SYNOPSIS: On 06/02/11, at approximately 1526 hours, deputies responded to 11280 Benson Rd. in Keswick for a report of a possible stabbing. Through the investigation it was found the suspect, Keith Mulvey and a roommate, Larry Stewart had an argument over money Mulvey owed Stewart. The argument became heated and Mulvey allegedly stabbed Stewart with a small metal weapon. The injury was not life threatening and both parties left the residence separately. Stewart was later found at a friend’s residence in Keswick and transported to SRMC for treatment.
At approximately 1940 hours, Deputies located Mulvey in the City of Shasta Lake. Mulvey was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Shasta County Jail, where he was booked.
