Radio Drive Works to Grant Ill Children’s Wishes

What: Annual Make-A-Wish Radiothon, hosted by Results Radio
When: Thursday and Friday (March 24-25)
Where: Mt. Shasta Mall, Redding

Results Radio and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California (North State Advisory Board) will be in front of JCPenney’s at the Mt. Shasta Mall, along with other Redding area radio stations, to help raise funds to grant the wishes of children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

You can tune into KNCQ radio station and show up anytime all day to meet and hear from different local “wish” families and win special auction items.

Pledges can be called in as listeners hear wishing children, their families, volunteers and staff share the power of granting wishes. Results Radio invites you to rally co-workers, schools, clubs, family and friends to plan activities to raise funds and be a part of the event. Among the fund raising events, five local banks will be enthusiastically selling stars. (North Valley, US Bank, Redding Bank of Commerce, Premier West, and 5 Star Bank.)

The 2011 Wish Ambassador is Michael. He’s been battling lymphoblastic lymphoma and last year his wish was to meet the Red Power Ranger at Disneyland. His Wish Granter was Barbara Harrison, who has been a volunteer for 27 years and is a member of the North State Advisory Board.
