Kids Draw the Perfect Playground, Adults Build It

What: Children’s drawings will create the blueprint for a new community playground in west Redding

When: Tuesday (March 15), 6 p.m.

Where: Manzanita Elementary School cafeteria

The Active 20-30 Club and Redding West Rotary have partnered with the City of Redding to build a new playground in T.R. Woods Memorial Park, on Sunset Drive north of Eureka Way. On March 15th, the groups are holding a ‘Design Day’ for children from neighborhoods near the park. Children and their parents are encouraged to attend this event. Kids will have an opportunity to flex their creativity by designing the ideal playground for their own neighborhood. ‘Design Day’ will be held in the cafeteria of Manzanita Elementary School on March 15th, at 6pm. The ‘Build Day’ is scheduled for May 21st.
