We all have our dream vacation destination. For two young ladies, that dream rests right here in Redding, California.
Hui and Mengyao, Chinese high school students, will be coming to Redding in January to study at Liberty Christian Schools. The girls, both tenth grade students, are now looking for families to host them during their stay. Hui enjoys being in nature and reading. She also said she would love a family with pets. Mengyao is easy-going and friendly. She loves playing sports and is excited to be able to watch basketball. “I want to study in America because it has the best schools and the most opportunity,” Mengyao said.
ASTAR Education Institute, a non-profit organization located in Washington D.C., is assisting Mengayo and Hui in their search for a host family. Host families have the chance to learn about another culture, take up a new language, and make lifelong relationships. Families will receive $400 per month to cover the cost of hosting the students. If you would be interested in hosting one or both of these wonderful young ladies, please call Ryan at 1-888-893-6783 or e-mail email@example.com.
