Finally! Internet Cafe in Prague. Twin Shelly and I had a somewhat rough start to our trip. Good thing we don’t believe in omens. The first unfortunate experience happened just after we left Williams on our drive to friends/web geniuses Jim and Darcie Gore in Elk Grove, where we’d spend the night and they’d drive us to the Sac. airport the following day.

Good-bye Prague, Hello Ostrava. This was my second trip to Prague, but Shelly’s first. Son Joe and his wife Marie (who’s Czech), were our patient, thorough, tireless tour guides. After our 24-hour airline adventure we unwound the first night in Prague at a pub near our hotel where we had Czech beer and nachos (not a Czech delicacy), After that, we fell into bed at our City Inn Hotel, located so near a train station that we could hear the three-note chimes before each train announcement, a sound that we grew to love.
