What: Art in the City – Autumn Reception and Exhibit
When: Thursday (Sept. 23), 5 to 7 p.m.
Where: City Hall, 777 Cypress Ave., Redding
As summer creeps into fall, our eyes are greeted by a spectacle of hues from nature’s color wheel, our ears are whispered to from breezes long dormant and our skin prickles ever so slightly by the cooling temperatures. It is a magical time where we gain a fresh perspective on our world before we dive into the slumber of winter. I hope you’ll take time to visit our latest exhibit and regale your senses with inspired works from some of our area’s finest artists. Art has always inspired, challenged and, at times, educated us about the world we share. Come share these fresh perspectives with us, September 23 at 5pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
