Shasta Wildlife Rescue hosts its annual Art on the Wild Side art show and benefit. Art on the Wild Side features artists working in multiple mediums who specialize in wildlife and wilderness art. The event also includes a wine tasting and refreshments.
Shasta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation has rescued injured and orphaned wildlife since 1979. The nonprofit, all-volunteer organization cares for more than 1,500 birds and animals each year. Many of the injured and orphaned are victims of what man has done to displace them from their homes and living spaces. Art on the Wild Side helps ensure that injured and orphaned wildlife are rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
