Our guest for the California Women Lead 7th Brown Bag lunch will be Elin Klaseen. Elin is the current chair of the Parkview Neighborhood Association, a position she has held for the past three years. The association advocates for the neighborhood on planning, land use, and health and welfare decisions through direct lobbying and through its neighborhood newsletter, the ParkviewPoint. Elin, a Redding native, has lived in the neighborhood seven years. She is an adjunct instructor at Shasta College in the welding department and a part-time systems analyst with SRI International of Menlo Park, and has recently completed a seasonal assignment with Lassen Volcanic National Park.
