Day 1 of the Frugalista Flea Market at Cypress Elementary School. Kelly sold lots of clothes, including her former corporate duds.
I sold mostly housewares, purses and scarves, but I took a break to lean against our big-ticket item: Bruce’s telescope (new: $600 not counting eye pieces – now: $200).
The Food Goddess, Andrea Charroin, made no bones about her prices. (I should have bought her deep-fryer while I had the chance.)
These two friends are selling the most adorable retro fabric baby items and purses.
The Frugalista Flea Market was good for mothers and daughters . . .
And kids who loved hot dogs (and big kids who liked hot dogs) . . . .
And for vintage adorables . . .
And for new handcrafted adorables . . .
And for book-sellers (and book-buyers) . . .
And for candle-selling boys earning money for fishing camp . . .

And for caterers who make brownies, muffins, coffee and hot dogs . . .
And funky jewelry-makers . . .
And fun-makers . . .
That was Day 1.
Sunday is Day 2 of the Frugalista Flea Market, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cypress Elementary School in Redding on Civic and Cypress Avenue.
Sellers are bringing in more stuff.
Many sellers are slashing prices so they don’t have to haul left-overs home.
And if you want to have a table to sell your stuff, be at Cypress School at 7 a.m. to set up. (BYOT – Bring your own table.)
Come say hi. Admission is free. Buy something to eat (hot dogs, drinks, coffee, brownies, muffins), and find a bargain-priced treasure.
