We do a lot of crowing about how much fun we have, working here at Food for Thought: A News Café, but other people love their jobs, too, and the Smart Business Resource Center wants to hear from them.
Smart is doing its annual contest for the best companies to work for in Shasta County, and happy employees are encouraged to vote. The best companies are those that offer a good work environment, on-going training for employees and excellent customer service.
Voting is divided into three categories for private companies, based on the number of employees. This year, Smart has added a fourth slot for nonprofits. Learn about eligibility and vote by clicking here.
All nominated companies will be invited to an awards breakfast at Win-River Casino on April 21.
Last year’s winners were Spectrum Orthotics and Prosthetics, American Medical Bill Review and Pre-employ.com.
