I can keep others’ secrets locked up tight. I will take some people’s personal information to my grave without a single spilled bean or escaped cat from even the fullest bag.
But when it comes to my own secrets, I’m really lousy at keeping them.
Take, for example, the secret I’m holding in about Food for Thought until Aug. 1.
Eight days away.
It’s not as if I’m sitting around with nothing to do, twiddling my thumbs, staring at the clock, waiting for Aug. 1.
I have plenty to do to prepare for that day. I have some important loose ends to tie up. I have stuff to write. I have people to call.
I already shared that Aug. 1 would feature a newly designed site. The redesign concept isn’t a secret, but the look of it is. Trust me. It’s very pretty, magaziney, classy and easy on the eyes. I love it. I’d be shocked if you didn’t love it, too.
The part I’m on pins and needles about is the Aug. 1 announcement that’s much bigger than a redesign.
I better stop now before I say something I’ll regret.
Aug. 1.
That’s all I’ll say.
Except I think you’ll love it.
