Community Invited to ‘An Evening of Our Favorite Things’

All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Redding invites the community to “An Evening of Our Favorite Things” on Sept. 17, featuring a reception, silent auction, and concert by the North State Singers.

This fundraising event starts at 6 p.m. in the church’s Memorial Hall with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and desserts during the silent auction. Wild Women on Wine will serve wine for $3 a glass.

A concert follows in the sanctuary from 7 to 8 p.m. Led by choir director Adam Ferris, the North State Singers are a dynamic, energetic group that will sing many familiar tunes.

The silent auction offers an ideal opportunity to purchase some unique gifts for the holidays. Items include a 1939 Singer sewing machine; an 18th century English Rectory Dinner for six at the home of Father Paul and Maggie Blanch; a hand-blown glass vase by California artist James Moody; and much more.
