Democrats for Change Annual Gala & Silent Auction

The Democratic Central Committee of Shasta County is sponsoring its annual fundraising event on September 19 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. at The Atrium, located in the Downtown Redding Mall, 1670 Market St. Redding CA.

Democrats and friends are invited to this annual event with the 2014 theme: Democrats For Change! Heidi Hall, candidate for Congress will be the special guest.

The Democratic Central Committee of Shasta County has been a political organization since the 1930s in Shasta County. The DCC is one of 53 in the State of California and is an arm of the California Democratic Party.

The event will take place on Friday, September 19, 6-9pm and feature music and dancing, No Host Bar, and delectable appetizers. Must be 21 years of age to attend. The main attraction will be the Silent Auction featuring art from local artists, homemade desserts and gourmet baskets.

Contributions to the Democratic Central Committee of Shasta County are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.Your contribution will be used in connection with federal elections and is subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act.  Contributions used in connection with federal elections are limited to $5,000 per calendar year.  Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year, Federal ID #C00530808. Corporate and union contributions are acceptable under California law and will be used in connection with nonfederal elections. California law permits contributions up to $6,500 per calendar year for use in supporting state candidates.
