On July 2nd, 2014, at about 5:45 P.M., SINTF agents along with agents from the Shasta County Marijuana Investigation Team and officers from the Redding Police Department served a Shasta County Search Warrant at a residence located on Scott Road in Shasta County, CA.
During a subsequent search of the residence, agents located the following; 84 mature marijuana plants inside an indoor growing room, about 3 pounds of processed packaged marijuana, evidence related to the sales of marijuana, 4 ecstasy pills, psilocybin eatables, and 11 firearms.
As a result of this investigation, thirty four year old Garret Henry Murphy was arrested for cultivation of marijuana, possessing marijuana for sale, possessing controlled substances, and possessing firearms while committing a felony. Murphy was later booked at the Shasta County Jail on the listed charges.
