Ongoing Monthly Safety Seminar for Pilots; Second Saturdays at Benton Airport

Pilots can receive WINGS credit by attending safety seminars at Benton Airport in Redding. The seminars are free and take place in Hanger 1A from 10 a.m. until noon.

William Hill, the lead FAASTeam (Federal Aviation Administration Safety) representative for the greater Redding area, conducts the monthly safety seminars.

In part, the training will help familarize pilots with FAA rules, processess and requirements, beneficial information in the event of any FAA citations.

Regular attendance may also result in insurance-company discounts for pilots.
