Helpline needs volunteers to answer calls on our community’s crisis counseling, suicide prevention, and referral phone line. A five week training class is being offered September 11 through October 11th, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The class will include background information, guest speakers on a variety of issues, and training on helping communication skills. Volunteers at Help, Inc. typically work one four-hour shift per week between the hours of 8am and 8pm, any day of the week. If you are non-judgmental, understanding, and a good listener, please register and lend a listening ear to those who need it.
