Doni Greenberg & Jake Carver: 12 days of Dancing with the Stars (Shasta County Style)

 

Welcome to Day 6 of Dancing with the Stars (Shasta County Style) waltz videos from the July 23 performance at the Cascade Theatre in Redding.

I did not save the best video for last. I saved mine for last because I hoped that by now everyone would have left for the weekend or grown bored with waltzes. I hoped nobody would be around to watch it.

Don’t get me wrong, part of my video is great; the part with Jake Carver, my wonderfully patient professional dance partner. Come to think of it, I’ve not seen him since the cast party. Maybe he’s left the country in an attempt to restore his dancing reputation after I wrecked it.

While we search for Jake, let’s recap the week of waltzes:

Monday: Kurt Starman, Redding city manager, and Sarah Leavers, his professional dance partner.

Tuesday: Tracy Edwards, Redding Rancheria CEO, and Matt Armstrong, her professional dance partner (the couple who won the contest, by the way).

Wednesday: Les Baugh, Shasta County supervisor, and Kathy Babcock, his professional dance partner.

Thursday: Don Burton, Results Radio manager, and his partner, Julie Correia.

Friday: Chita Johnson, KRCR weather reporter, and Logan Grimes, her professional dance partner.

Saturday: Yours truly and Jake Carver, my professional dance partner.

Come Sunday, we start all over again, but this time with six days of discos.
