• About half of Shasta County’s cases have been the result of gatherings of family or friends. Even small gatherings are still not recommended, particularly with the recent increase of cases here. If you must interact with people outside of your household, please wash your hands frequently, stay at least six feet apart, wear a face covering, spend your time outdoors if you can, and do not interact with others if you are sick, even with mild symptoms. All of these precautions can help stop the spread of COVID-19.
