Shasta College Spring Plant Sale

The Shasta College Horticulture Department will hold its 54th Annual Spring Plant Sale on Friday April 11 and Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days at the Shasta College Farm. The sale is planned and staffed by horticulture students to raise money for student projects, scholarships and various student activities. The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) will also be on-site selling a wide selection of California Native plants to raise funds for local student scholarships and restoration.

The sale will feature annual flowering plants, perennials, herbs, vegetable plant starts, trees, shrubs, strawberry plants, native plants, succulents and house plants. Plant varieties being sold are selected for their ability to survive and thrive in this area’s climate. All plants are grown using sustainable practices with many certified organic vegetable starts.

For those who are unable to attend in person, plants can be ordered online and picked up at the Shasta College Farm after the sale. Starting on April 15 plant orders can be placed at https://www.shastacollege.edu/the-community/farm-nursery-shop/
