The second workshop will focus on Transplanting and Getting the Outside Garden Ready and will be held March 9, from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Redding Public Library in the Community Room and Patio area at 1100 Parkview Av., Redding. Workshop Topics will include:

Both workshops will have three sessions of classes that last about 40 minutes each, and participants will be able to select topics for each session. There will be a $5.00 charge to cover materials and seeds at each workshop.
Master Gardeners are also sponsoring a Garden Starts Co-Op after each workshop for those who would like to participate. Participants in the Garden Starts Co-Op swap seeds or plant starts for plants/seeds that they need. For those who do not have seeds/plants to swap, Master Gardeners will also have some seeds to share with participants at both events, and the Redding Library will have seeds available from the seed library.
