Shasta College Spring Play “The Skin of Our Teeth”

Don’t miss the landmark American classic and the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, “The Skin of Our Teeth,” by Thornton Wilder as it makes its debut appearance on the Shasta College stage this spring, March 10, 11, 16-18 at 7:00 p.m. and March 12 and 19 at 2:00 p.m. The playwright, Thornton Wilder, was a significant American dramatist also famous for his play “Our Town”.  This year also marks the 125th anniversary of Wilder’s birth. This comedy-drama remains a unique and wonderfully theatrical allegory of human life.

Producer Greg Thorson says, “It is marvelous to work with such a great group of actors. Shasta College plays draw their cast from Shasta College students and the Community. Many of these students worked together on the Fall Play “You Can’t Take it With You” and formed a tight bond. I am really excited to see their work in this play!”

Tickets are $15 General Admission, $10 Seniors, and $5 Students (that’s students from anywhere, including all kids). Tickets can be reserved at www.shastacollege.edu/ArtsEvents

“The Skin of Our Teeth” is directed by Mathew McDonald and produced by Dr. Gregory Thorson, with set design by David Fraser, lighting design by Tim Dye, and costume design by Hillary Wilson-Fahey. “The Skin of Our Teeth” is produced with permission from Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
