Like most sane people in the Redding area, I’m relieved that triple digit temperatures seem to be behind us. Still, autumn comes with a little sadness as outdoor venues go on hiatus. I’m thinking of the Sunset River Jam at the Anderson River Park, which apparently hosted its season finale concert last Wednesday. Still looking for an outdoor music fix? The Park is still hosting concerts, and the Monday Music series is still going on at the Mosaic Restaurant at the Sundial Bridge. I’ll miss those venues when they stop for the season, but not as much as I miss rain.
