structure in Downtown Redding, we are excited for more Art opportunities and experiences to

up-and-coming Summer galleries.

As always, The Art Hunger strives to showcase and nurture the local art community in a safe,

About the Art Hunger

The Art Hunger is a project born from the idea of creating community through art, and it
supports artistic projects alongside other groups and organizations through collaboration or
through consultation.

The Art Hunger was officially started in 2020, but it’s creator Karlo Henry has organized and
hosted a number of art events in the Redding Community since moving here in 2016 including
“Art OUTside” in 2018 and “Final Fridays: Art By The Bridge” in collaboration with Turtle Bay in
2019.

The Art Hunger does not exist to make a profit, but rather to strengthen the community by
producing free or low-cost events for artists and the public. It also seeks ways to keep producing
these art events with the help of artists, art supporters and public or private organizations.

About Viva Downtown

Viva Downtown is a volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to enhancing the cultural, social and
economic development of Downtown Redding.
