• The testing that has recently become available at the HHSA offices in Anderson, Enterprise and Shasta Lake City is by appointment only. Testing is at the Enterprise office on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; at the Anderson office on Saturday; and at the Shasta Lake City office on Sunday. This is state testing, and the people who conduct the tests are not there on other days, so please do not come to an office for a COVID-19 test without an appointment. Go to www.ShastaReady.org and click on “Get Tested” to make an appointment.

• Every year, the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency encourages residents over 6 months of age to get their flu shots. This is now more important than ever, as this year promises to be an extra-complicated respiratory virus season for our healthcare providers. Flu shots are free by appointment at the Public Health clinic, and are easily accessible through your primary care provider and local pharmacies, many of which offer coupons or discounts on purchases when you get your flu shot there. Learn more at www.ShastaFluShots.com.
